A small gelato stand in the UK received a cease and desist for using the name Percy Pig in their gelato made with Percy Pig candies. The stand’s owner said he wasn’t upset about it because “The letter was really fair and was a nice way of saying stop using the name.”
Taco Bell thinks nobody should own TACO TUESDAY, so they’ve petitioned to cancel several marks and oppose applications. This petition to cancel is a blast; it begins “People like tacos on Tuesdays. They just do. It’s even fun to say: ‘Taco Tuesday.'”
Not surprisingly, LeBron James is supporting their efforts.
