Alt Legal/World Trademark Review Study Released
Alt Legal Team | June 12, 2017
In March of this year, Alt Legal collaborated with World Trademark Review and other intellectual property experts to publish a study examining IP offices throughout the world. That study, published in the April/May issue of the World Trademark Review, can now be downloaded.
The study, “Registries transformed – the world’s most innovative IP offices revealed,” compared technology at government IP offices in the U.S. and abroad. Comparing offices using many different metrics, the study found the EUIPO office to be the most technologically savvy in the world.
Alt Legal’s team conducted much of the research used in the study. Further, Alt Legal’s CEO Nehal Madhani was featured prominently in the piece, both explaining the research findings and offering analysis of current IP office trends. Nehal recognizes those offices who effectively integrate technology and suggests, “Given the availability of computing devices, electronic trademark filings should be a universal requirement for IP offices today.”
