In 2015, Merlyne Jean-Louis founded Jean-Louis Law, a New York-based virtual law firm that focuses on business and entertainment law. A former dancer, she uses her creative and business knowledge to counsel creatives and business owners during their entrepreneurial journeys. Merlyne is also a legal commentator who has discussed intellectual property on Bloomberg, CBS, The Verge and Marketplace Tech. Merlyne obtained her J.D. from Duke Law School and B.A., cum laude, in Psychology and French, minor in Pre-Business Studies from New York University.
