Alt Legal Connect Is Going Virtual!
Alt Legal Team | May 29, 2020
It’s hard to imagine that two months ago we would have kicked off the inaugural Alt Legal Connect conference in Brooklyn with 150+ attendees sipping cocktails on a rooftop. Since we made the difficult decision to reschedule our conference from March to October, it’s become clear that COVID-19 will continue to disrupt travel, prohibit large social gatherings, and pose public health risks.
To help ensure everyone’s health and well-being, we’ve decided to make Alt Legal Connect a virtual event this year. We recognize that virtual conferences might not sound as exciting, our team is committed to making this a warm, interactive virtual conference where you can learn from industry leaders and forge real connections within the trademark community. Alt Legal Connect will still offer invaluable and unique content for leveling up your trademark practice and firm operations and fun, novel, and engaging experiences for attendees to connect with each other.
We know that we will lose handshakes and drinking and eating together, but we’ll have the opportunity to include even more of our friends and colleagues by bringing Alt Legal Connect to their homes and offices. Because the conference will be virtual, we’ve reduced the costs of a conference pass to just $150. You can purchase your ticket here.
We will post specific details in the coming weeks and months, but note that the conference sessions will still start on October 26th. Virtual conferences within the IP world are certainly new, so if you have any ideas or suggestions that would make this conference great for you, please let us know.
We’d like to thank all our speakers, sponsors, and attendees for their your support. We look forward to making our very first Connect conference the best and most rewarding conference you’ve ever attended, virtual or otherwise. Please stay safe and healthy, and thank you for your patience, understanding, and support!
